I admit I'm a fan of Porter's books. I like the fast paced action, and he really delivers. The future world situation with aliens, a big bad guy, huge criminal organization.. is a tough place for an agent that's just looking for love, friends and fun weapons.. If you've like the first book, you'll like this follow up. I think it would stand alone fairly well, but think folks would enjoy this more after reading the setup in the first book. Hang on!!
