Most of the cartoons I see in newspapers are not funny. Half Baked are really, really funny. Clean (O.K., there's a bit of male jr. high humor in some) and chuckle worthy. Not edgy or sophisticated or preachy or "relevant" - just funny, because life can be funny. They remind me of the Old Far Side cartoons, but not as wierd. It's like visualizing a really good one-liner. And you might even say about some of the cartoons, "Hey! I've thought about it the very same way!" (but you couldn't draw your offbeat concept so well). There are quite a few inside jokes that people in their 40's and older (or if you are younger and smart) would enjoy. They're the kind of comic you cut out to send to a friend (or sibling) or hang on the refrigerator to entertain like-minded quirky visitors.Product details
